A New Map: London's Latest Tables and Bars Now Live in the City Guide

Localtime’s London section grows this week, with a tranche of new restaurants, bars and bakeries now mapped — including inventive Thai cooking in Farringdon, French bistro energy in Covent Garden, and dumplings from Xi’an in Fulham.

Boldest among the new names is PAM (61 Charterhouse Street, Farringdon, Maps), where Thai flavours, colourful cocktails and art merge under the hand of a former Kiln head chef.

Covent Garden welcomes two strong names: Cassette (42 Maiden Lane, Instagram, site, Maps) brings modern French bistro cooking, while Nettle (site, Maps) crowns The Conduit’s rooftop with a focus on seasonal British produce over fire.

Meanwhile in Islington, Noodle Theorist (site, Maps) sets up handmade Chinese noodles on Highbury Corner.

Regional Chinese cooking also lands in Fulham at The Wei (site, Instagram), with a menu built around dumplings and hand-pulled noodles from Xi’an.

Chefs revisit classics elsewhere: Spitalfields Market now hosts Two Twins Tacos, known for Californian-style fillings; while vegetarian plates get a wild-flavoured upgrade at airy Holy Carrot Spitalfields (Instagram).
