About these terms

These terms govern your use of Localtime (localtime.ai), operated by KKAT LIMITED, Unit 1603, 16th Floor, The L. Plaza, 367–375 Queen’s Road Central, Sheung Wan, Hong Kong. Contact us at emrah@kkat.org. By using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please stop using it. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information.

The service

Localtime publishes city guides, venue listings and editorial recommendations. You can browse guides, sign in with Google to save places and manage preferences, and choose to receive newsletters. Localtime does not take restaurant bookings or sell the venues’ products or services. Any transaction with a venue or third party is between you and that provider.

Accounts and responsible use

You must be at least 16 to create an account and have any consent or legal capacity required where you live. Keep your Google account secure and provide accurate information. Do not impersonate others, attempt unauthorised access, interfere with the service, distribute malware, bypass access controls or use the service unlawfully. Automated access must respect technical restrictions and must not disrupt the service or infringe others’ rights.

Guides and external content

Opening dates, hours, prices, ratings, availability and other details can change. Some research, summaries and translations are assisted by automated tools and may contain errors. Confirm important details directly with the venue before travelling, booking or making a purchase. Recommendations are editorial information, not guarantees of quality, safety or suitability.

Third-party websites, photographs, ratings and source material belong to their respective owners. Links do not make Localtime responsible for the third party’s services or policies. Please report factual errors or rights concerns to emrah@kkat.org with the relevant page and supporting details.

Use of our content

You may browse and use the guides for personal purposes and share links to our pages. Localtime’s original text, design and branding are owned by or licensed to KKAT LIMITED. Except as permitted by law or a relevant licence, do not republish substantial portions, commercially redistribute our database, or use our branding in a way that suggests endorsement without permission. Nothing here limits lawful quotation or other statutory exceptions.

Newsletters and account closure

Newsletters are optional. You may unsubscribe using the link in any newsletter. You may stop using Localtime at any time and request account deletion at emrah@kkat.org. We may restrict access when reasonably necessary to address abuse, security risks or legal requirements, and provide notice where appropriate and lawful.

Availability and responsibility

We aim to keep Localtime useful and available, but cannot promise uninterrupted service or that every listing is complete or current. To the extent allowed by applicable law, the service is provided as available without additional warranties. We are not responsible for losses caused by third-party venues, external websites or events beyond our reasonable control.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence where applicable, or your mandatory consumer rights. These terms do not remove protections or access to courts available to you under mandatory local law.

Changes and questions

We may update the service and these terms. Updated terms will appear here with a new effective date; material changes will receive additional notice where required. Changes apply prospectively. Contact emrah@kkat.org with questions or concerns so we can try to resolve them.
