Pénates opens in September 2026 at 226 Boulevard Voltaire in the 11th: Stéphanie Moquet’s first solo restaurant after running the kitchens at Riviera Fuga, Fuga R and Laïa Monceau. Mediterranean cooking, Japanese technique and seasoning, a wood-fired robata at the centre of the room. Designed as a place you can linger from morning to night.

The little-known fact is the garden. The restaurant has its own kitchen garden, whose harvests are meant to feed the card through the year. Decorator Anne Tattevin signed the interior: oak, soft-toned fabrics, natural materials, a sunlit veranda and a dining room that opens onto the kitchen. The robata — a Japanese charcoal grill, feu de bois — sets the tone for vegetables, fish, meats and smoked desserts. @penates_paris is the live camera; @steph_moq is the chef.

Sortir à Paris filed the opening among the rentrée’s most watched first rooms. Boulevard Voltaire is the 11th, not another Right Bank hotel dining room. The robata is why you go; Voltaire is why it feels like Paris.
