Balcon Paris

Balcon Paris opened on the eighth-floor terrace of Galeries Lafayette Haussmann, after five years of Créatures, as Julien Sebbag’s more classical bistro: starter, main, dessert, and the roofs of Paris.

The little-known fact is the swap: sharing plates are gone. The weekly board holds until autumn — eggs mayonnaise with black garlic, heirloom tomatoes, truffle macaroni, flank steak with pepper sauce — and the terrace takes 140 covers facing the Palais Garnier. Book for the view; drop in between services for a coffee if the tables are gone.
