Cafe Eighty One

Set within Jaguar’s Knightsbridge showroom, Cafe Eighty One stands out for its collaboration with Michelin-starred chef Michael O’Hare, known for inventive cuisine at The Man Behind the Curtain. Here, familiar British favourites get an offbeat revamp, from afternoon tea with a reimagined, precisely shaped scone—called the 'oloid'—to a chef’s bacon sandwich using cured Iberico pork secreto and dashi-spiked mayo. Lobster tail rolls with Amalfi lemon and eggs with truffle or caviar also feature.

The menu highlights striking forms and seasonal ingredients, while the cafe’s look draws directly from Jaguar’s car designs, echoing their materials and lines. Drinks range from curated teas to English wine and 'tea cocktails.' With future chef collaborations planned, Cafe Eighty One places considered craftsmanship and playful British flavours at the centre of this unusual meeting of automotive and culinary worlds.
