The Scalla is a modern Italian restaurant set in the greener fabric of Beykoz, away from the denser Asian-side strips, at an address in Beykoz, Istanbul.

The kitchen pairs Italian plates with a stone-oven Neapolitan pizza line, so the room balances composed dishes and fire-blistered dough under one service. In Beykoz’s quieter, leafier setting the concrete detail is the oven itself—heat management and a dough program that justifies the trip without borrowing a downtown noise level the neighborhood does not want.

Oggusto filed the opening into circulation, and Instagram at thescalla remains the live camera for hours and oven schedules. The room is why you go, and the street is why it feels like Istanbul.
