Mori Yaki

Mori Yaki occupies a fire-led room in Kuruçeşme, along the Beşiktaş shoreline at Kuruçeşme, Beşiktaş, Istanbul, where the night tilts toward the water and the grill stays visible long after dusk.

What defines the kitchen is the meeting of robata technique with a local mangal sensibility: coals and skewers set the tempo, while the bar keeps pace with a cocktail list built for the same counter energy. The result is less a theme restaurant than a practical hybrid for Kuruçeşme evenings, when plates are meant to be shared and the heat source is part of the furniture.

Müdavim filed the opening, and @moriistanbul is the live camera for hours and seatings. The room is why you go, and the street is why it feels like Istanbul.
