Josephine

Josephine is the principal restaurant at Rixos Tersane Istanbul, on Taşkızak Tersanesi Caddesi No: 23/1 in Camiikebir, Beyoğlu, where a glass atrium opens toward a terrace on the Golden Horn.

A fleet of polished boats hangs from the atrium ceiling above the dining room, a deliberate remainder of the Ottoman shipyard the hotel was built inside, and the detail still orders how the space is read at night.

The kitchen’s own channels carried the opening, and rixostersaneistanbul is the live camera for hours. The room is why you go, and the street is why it feels like Istanbul.
