Focu Sauvage marks the first permanent home for the itinerant Nomade et Sauvage collective, renowned for outdoor feasts built around wood-fired cooking. The restaurant occupies a 1930s building in Rouf, once a kafenio-taverna and later a machine shop. Key architectural elements such as exposed stone walls are preserved, while custom marble and wooden communal tables add striking visual depth—a nod to both local tradition and contemporary collaborators.

The kitchen remains true to its roots: almost all dishes are prepared over open flames or in wood-fired ovens, with focus on the integrity of fresh, seasonal Greek ingredients sourced from the broader Attica region. Handmade serving vessels inspired by Ionia further ground the experience culturally. The expansive wine list curated by sommelier Giorgos Karampinis and bar program from Manolis Lykiardopoulos complement the fire-cooked plates, extending the group’s thoughtful, materially rooted approach indoors.
