Le Petit Brochant

Le Petit Brochant opened in July 2026 at 21 Rue Brochant, on the corner of Rue Nollet in Batignolles, Jean-Baptiste Ascione and Mendel Uzzan’s neighborhood brasserie with continuous service from noon to midnight, seven days a week.

The little-known fact is the age of the chef: Ascione entered the École de Paris des métiers de la table at fourteen, was twenty-one on Top Chef in 2015, then ran Le Petit Gris and Faby in the same arrondissement before this door. Jean-Vianney Dewailly of Studio Matériaux Authentiques hung old woodwork, green marble and salvaged chandeliers so the room would age rather than trend. Ribs and côte de bœuf are carved at the table; oysters come from Perle de Quehan in the Morbihan; the cellar starts at sixty-five references. Official inauguration was set for the end of August; Gilles Pudlowski sat it in late July. Breakfast arrives in September.
