Lotta opened in April 2026 at 8 Rue Jean-Jacques Rousseau in the 1st, a few steps from the Louvre, as Charlotte Bereaud’s first restaurant — Mediterranean cooking with Italian design, Tuesday to Saturday for lunch and dinner.
The little-known fact is the lobby. Bereaud, who left Prunier in the Alléno years and the Crystal Room at Baccarat, designed the room with architect Juliette Rubel after Taschen’s Ingressi di Milano: travertine, mirrored ceilings, wood against metal, Marcel Breuer chairs. Chef Zoumana Meité writes a short board — escabèche mussels, a revisited pissaladière, pasta, sharing plates. Newtable filed the opening among the latest Paris tables. The best seat is upstairs on the balcony.
