Le Schiap

Le Schiap opened on 1 June 2026 at 22 Rue de Berri in the 8th, Stéphane Pitré’s brasserie inside Hôtel de Berri, after the hotel dining room had sat dark for a long stretch and after he closed LOUIS — one Michelin star from 2019 to 2024 — on 12 December 2025.

The little-known fact is the address: Elsa Schiaparelli lived at 22 Rue de Berri for nearly forty years, and two plates salute her. The Robe au Homard is an open lobster raviolo with a ginger-infused head jus, after the 1937 lobster dress she made with Salvador Dalí; Sac Schiaparelli, Fraise Couture is a trompe-l’œil dessert. Hippolyte Romain painted a mural of Woody Allen shooting Schiaparelli in Paris, with Dalí, Cocteau and Chanel in the frame. Brittany-born Pitré trained at the Ritz London and Lucas Carton; the 42-euro business menu, three dishes rewritten daily, runs Monday to Friday. Phone +33 1 76 53 77 70. SevenRooms holds the book.

@le_schiap_restaurant is the live camera. The lobster dress is why you go; Rue de Berri is why it feels like Paris.
