The Tours bistro’s first Paris opening, on Rue Feydeau: grandmother cooking, plates to share, and a cellar of sixty bottles you pick yourself.

Le Chien Fou

Le Chien Fou opens in mid-September 2026 at 16 Rue Feydeau in the 2nd: Jean Poirier’s first Paris bistrot after Tours in 2021, then Orléans and Poitiers, a big-table room of homemade cooking, plates to share and a cellar of about sixty bottles.

The little-known fact is the bicycle. Poirier came back from a 2020 ride across the United States and Bolivia wanting a simple, sincere table — roast farm chicken stuffed with bread and garlic, a shared rib of beef, bone marrow as the house icon. Sortir à Paris filed the Paris opening among the rentrée’s new openings; @lechienfoubistrot is the live camera for hours. Rue Feydeau still runs as a short cut between Bourse and Montorgueil, which is why the 2nd still feels like a village after dark.

The marrow is why you go; Rue Feydeau is why it feels like Paris.
