La Mijoterie opens in September 2026 at 26 Rue de Cotte in the 12th, in the heart of the Aligre market: Augustin Garnier’s first restaurant, a room of long cooking where blanquette de veau and bœuf bourguignon leave the kitchen in the cocotte they simmered in.
The little-known fact is the steam. Garnier, who came through La Rôtisserie Segar, wants the pots to arrive smoking so the heat and the perfume stay in the vessel — a family-table gesture in a street that still sells vegetables under a clock pavilion. Sortir à Paris filed the opening among the rentrée’s new openings; @lamijoterieparis is already the live camera. The clock on Place d’Aligre is why the neighbourhood still feels like a village inside the 12th.
The cocotte is why you go; Rue de Cotte is why it feels like Paris.
