Kintsugi Beer opens in September 2026 at 49 Quai de Valmy in the 10th, on the Canal Saint-Martin: a Japanese brewpub that brews on site and gives the kitchen to gyoza, in a street the canal still uses after dark.
The little-known fact is the name. Kintsugi is the Japanese craft of repairing broken pottery with gold — the brewpub takes that join as its mark, and posts a video a week until the doors open. Sortir à Paris filed the opening among the rentrée’s new openings; @kintsugibeer is already the live camera for hours. The lock and the footbridge on the quay are why the neighbourhood still feels like a port inside the 10th.
The gyoza are why you go; Quai de Valmy is why it feels like Paris.
