Cléo opened at 19 Boulevard de la Tour-Maubourg in the 7th, a discreet façade on the Invalides side of the river where chef Alexandre Semperé runs a seasonal gastronomic kitchen.

The little-known fact is the second room: behind the dining room sits Bar Léopold, a Belle Époque speakeasy with baroque wallpaper that opens from 16:00, so the house is a bar before it is a restaurant. Out back, a leafy patio with a stone fountain works as an urban oasis the boulevard never advertises.
