Sale e Pepe Mare opened in March 2026 at The Langham, 1c Portland Place, W1B 1JA, a riviera-inspired seafood room from the Knightsbridge trattoria that has stood since 1974. Wallpaper* filed the Langham door among 2026’s new London restaurants: lobster linguine with datterino tomatoes, whole turbot on the Josper, a marble bar, Caesar salad still finished tableside. The little-known fact is the year. Sale e Pepe has been in Knightsbridge for more than fifty years; Mare is the first time that house has written a seafood room, and it did it inside a Portland Place hotel rather than next door. The catch is why you go; Portland Place is why it feels like London.
