Rise & Fold opened on 4 July 2026 at 28 Brunswick Square, WC1N 1AE, in the Brunswick Centre off Russell Square. Asian flavours, European technique: Japanese salt bread, black-pepper beef pain Suisse, yuzu-wasabi prawn rolls, chocolate miso cake, matcha from Kyoto sitting next to a croissant. Soft launch was a pound coffee. @millykr filed it among the new London bakeries she had just tried, alongside Cremer and the south London five. Monday to Friday 08:30–17:00; Saturday and Sunday 09:30–17:00.
The little-known fact is the address. This is a shopping-centre bakehouse on purpose — Brunswick, not a hidden arch — so the UCL and hospital traffic gets salt bread without a pilgrimage to Chinatown. @riseandfold is the live camera.
The salt bread is why you go; the Brunswick is why it feels like London.
