Krust Café / Bakehouse opened in early June 2026 at 49 Dartmouth Road, Forest Hill, SE23 3HN, a neighbourhood counter that was still brand new when @millykr filed it in her five new south London bakeries carousel on 21 July. Everything in the case is baked in house; coffee, tea and matcha are organic; a photobook library and an art wall sit behind the pastries. London the Inside’s bakery roundup the same day called it six weeks old and quietly open. Wednesday to Sunday 08:30–14:30.

The little-known fact is the brief. This is not a Camberwell clone dropped on a SE23 parade: the room is a café that happens to bake, with a library instead of a queue barrier, which is why Forest Hill claimed it as a morning stop rather than a destination croissant. @krust_cafe_bakehouse is the live camera.

The case is why you go; Dartmouth Road is why it feels like London.
