Kismet opened on 16 July 2026 upstairs at The Globe Tavern, 8 Bedale Street, restaurateur Dom Hamdy — Crispin, Bistro Freddie — with chef Keiran Mustafa cooking meyhane food from Istanbul and Northern Cyprus over the market. Condé Nast Traveller put it at the top of the August 2026 new-London file. Hot Dinners had it Hot Right Now the same month. London the Inside sat the residency in early August and called it the Globe’s best yet.
The little-known fact is the clock: this is a year-long residency, not a forever lease, so the meze, charcoal chicken and pistachio baklava sit over a pub that has always rotated kitchens. Live music, family-style plates, buffalo-milk yoghurt with chilli butter. Book through kismet.london.
@kismet.ldn is the live camera. The meyhane is why you go; Bedale Street is why it feels like London.
