KID opens on 1 September 2026 at 55 Frith Street, W1D 4SJ, Sertaç Dirik’s first restaurant after Mangal II, a collaborative Turkish kitchen Hot Dinners dated on the Soho coming-soon list. The Nudge put the same 1 September door on the September openings calendar. The house Instagram, @kid_soho, already holds a façade on Frith Street and plates from the test kitchen; kid.london is the site.

The little-known fact is the brief. Dirik is not copying Mangal II into Soho; The Nudge filed the cooking as modern Turkish updates framed around British seasonality, a Soho clock rather than a Dalston transplant.
