Pillar Hall

Idalia opened on 30 March 2026 at 5 Olympia Way, W14 0NE, on the ground floor of Grade II* listed Pillar Hall — the first restaurant inside Olympia’s £1.3 billion rebuild. Executive chef Samantha Williams, formerly Angela Hartnett’s exec, and pastry chef Lorena Tommasi cook modern British with Asian and European twists in a 300-cover all-day room. Condé Nast Traveller filed it in the May 2026 new-London file: gochujang chicken, whole roasted turbot with shichimi butter, beef-tallow chips, a pistachio cheesecake that had a reputation in week one.

The little-known fact is the name. Idalia is an 1880s word for Aphrodite, written for a hall that once held Vivienne Westwood’s first catwalk and one of Britain’s earliest film screenings. The wine list is English; the cocktails arrive in pink-crusted globes. Breakfast through last orders, Monday–Friday 07:00–23:30, Saturday–Sunday 07:30–23:00. Book through pillarhall.co.uk.

@idalia.restaurant is the live camera. The hall is why you go; Olympia Way is why it feels like London.
