The Golden Tooth opened in April 2026 at 79 Green Lanes, N16 9BU, taking over the former Leconfield near Newington Green. It is the second project from chef Matthew Scott and wine merchant Charlie Carr, the duo behind the now-closed Papi in London Fields. Broadsheet dated the 24 April door. The Nudge walked the split room at the end of the month: a proper drinking area up front, a dining room out back under a slowly rotating disco ball. The Infatuation sat the same tables in June.
The little-known fact is the list. Around 80 per cent of the wine is British, glasses from £7, a Great Beyond house lager, Sunday roasts as an all-in platter of four meats with Yorkshire puddings. Kitchen Wednesday–Thursday 18:00–22:00, Friday–Saturday 12:00–15:00 and 18:00–22:00, Sunday 12:00–17:00. Pub hours run later. Book through goldentooth.co.uk; 020 7354 2791.
@goldentooth.pub is the live camera. The cheese tart is why you go; Green Lanes is why it feels like London.
