Café Jikoni opened on 18 April 2026 at 107 Carpenters Road, E20 2AR, on the ground floor of the new V&A East Museum — Ravinder Bhogal and Nadeem Lalani Nanjuwany’s second kitchen after Marylebone. Condé Nast Traveller filed the May Stratford room. Hot Dinners dated the 18 April opening with the museum. Monday–Sunday 10:00–18:00, Thursday and Saturday until 22:00. jikonilondon.com/cafejikoni holds the rest.

The little-known fact is the water. The room looks onto the Waterworks River, a canteen with an open kitchen rather than a museum pit-stop — congee, matcha, a kitchen without borders written for Olympic Park rather than Blandford Street.
