Brasserie Olivia opened in July 2026 at 1 Sloane Square, SW1W 8EE, the first London door of La Nouvelle Garde, the French brasserie group with ten houses already at home. Wallpaper* walked the room: mosaic floors, checkerboard tiles, vintage advertising posters in the old David Mellor cutlery boutique, breakfast through post-theatre, soupe à l’oignon, pâté en croûte, oysters shucked to order, a Toulouse cassoulet. The little-known fact is the shop. This is not a hotel brasserie dropped on the square; it is a cutlery boutique rewritten as a French all-day room, Sloane Square rather than a Paris side street. The onion soup is why you go; Sloane Square is why it feels like London.
