Banook Bagels opened its bigger shop at the end of May 2026 at 40 East Dulwich Road, SE22 9AX, between Dulwich Village and Peckham Rye, in a former Papa John’s. The original Latona Road counter in Peckham was selling out in hours; this is the sit-down version of the same boil-and-bake. Everything bagel with cucumber is the house order @millykr called out in her new south London bakeries file. Wednesday to Friday 08:00–15:30; Saturday and Sunday 08:30–15:30. banookbagels.com holds the hours.
The little-known fact is the move. This is not a second brand: Banook left Peckham so the queue could become a shop, which is why the East Dulwich Road door still reads as a bagel counter rather than a brunch concept. @banookbagels is the live camera.
The bagel is why you go; East Dulwich Road is why it feels like London.
