Supermarket is a cocktails-led room in Beyoğlu’s Asmalımescit, at Sofyalı Sokak No:14, on a street that has long treated the line between dinner and the next drink as optional. The address sits inside the mahalle’s densest evening grid, where doors open onto foot traffic that does not thin until late and the block still behaves like a continuous interior.

Beyond the name, the operating idea is a split day: restaurant service while the light holds, then a midnight-market register when the street turns fully nocturnal. No chef biography anchors the filings; what is concrete is the Sofyalı placement itself—a narrow Beyoğlu lane where a bar can inherit its crowd from neighboring tables and send them back out without ever needing a grand entrance on a main avenue.

Oggusto filed the opening, and supermarket.tr on Instagram is the live camera for hours. The room is why you go, and the street is why it feels like Istanbul.
