Østre Cihangir

Østre is a focused oyster and raw bar set into the slope of Cihangir, where Firuzağa’s Bostanbaşı Caddesi No: 4/B meets the neighborhood’s quieter side streets and evening foot traffic.

It is the sister room to Nørre, the Nordic-leaning kitchen a few streets away under the same owners, but the brief here is deliberately narrower: a marble raw bar, oysters, and little else to distract from the cold plate.

Istanbul Muse and Oggusto filed the opening, and ostre.ist is the live camera for hours and seatings. The room is why you go, and the street is why it feels like Istanbul.
