Müdavim filed the room on 27 February 2026 as a third place: the warmth of a mahalle kahvecisi with a design showroom running through the same pastel fit-out.

The little-known fact is that you can buy the room. Cups, chairs, poufs, wall objects — the sustainable-material, warm-pastel décor is also the shop. That is why a coffee here lasts longer than the drink: you are sitting inside the inventory. Daily house-made snacks hold the case; pastel de nata and spinach quiche are the kitchen’s signatures. In summer the ice latte, ice matcha and Noi Spritz take over. Maps hours run 08:00–22:00 weekdays, 09:00–23:00 Saturday, 10:00–20:00 Sunday. Capacity is thirty-five on purpose. This is not an Abdi İpekçi brunch hall.

Come for a filter and the nata if you want the quiet street; come to look at a chair if you want the showroom half of the brief. The room is built for new friendships and short pauses in the Nişantaşı working day, not for a tasting menu. Müdavim’s frame was “üçüncü mekân” — neither home nor office — and the numbered lane is what makes that feel like Teşvikiye rather than a concept café on the avenue.

Go for the nata and a coffee you can finish without a booking. Ömer Rüştü Paşa is why it feels like this side of Istanbul. Walk from Tesvikiye Mosque if you want the residential arrival; the four-way at the other end of Atiye is someone else’s door. Thirty-five seats fill on a Saturday afternoon, which is the only queue the house will admit.
