Köfte Cihangir

Köfte Cihangir is a street-food counter in Cihangir, at Matara Sokak 14/A in the Kılıçali Paşa pocket of Beyoğlu, where the slope’s creative foot traffic still expects food that can be eaten without ceremony.

The kitchen puts köfte at the center, treating one of the country’s most familiar comfort foods as the whole argument rather than a side note on a longer menu. The room stays small and direct, closer to a neighborhood grill stop than to a staged concept restaurant.

Istanbul Muse filed the opening, and @koftecihangir is the live camera for hours and daily rhythm. The room is why you go, and the street is why it feels like Istanbul.
