Kanti Yeniköy

Kanti opened as an all-day dining room at Köybaşı Caddesi No: 78, Yeniköy, Sarıyer — the Bosphorus village road that still behaves like a small coastal town even as the yalı line thickens behind it. Phone +90 535 814 58 78. There is no reservation engine: @kantiyenikoy says walk-ins only. The clock runs 08:00–01:00 every day, 08:00–02:00 Friday and Saturday, a hundred seats split between the garden and the indoor room. Müdavim’s Naz Kavas filed the table on 1 September 2026; the kitchen’s own teaser, “Yeniköy, don’t make plans. Kanti is coming,” went up in early July.

The little-known fact is written on the floor at the door: Stay a Little Longer. Burgundy upholstery, wood and marble do the rest. Garden tables take Yeniköy’s slower clock; inside, a pastry and snack counter faces the room so breakfast and midnight look like the same house. Evenings pick up a DJ without turning the door into a club. Birthdays are allowed. That is the brief — one address for granola at eight and a vodka pasta after eleven.

Breakfast is a granola bowl, avocado toast, croque madame, breakfast burrito, coffee and bakery. Later the share plates take over: truffle artichoke dip, mango-and-beef smashed taco, shrimp tostada, a la vodka fusilli, NY mac and cheese, a Korean fried-chicken sando, roast-beef sando, a half-baked cookie. Classic and house cocktails sit next to the food, which is why the clock can run to two without a second kitchen. The room is world-kitchen rather than a hotel all-day: tacos and pasta on the same card, served at marble tables instead of a buffet line.

Go for the garden on a weekday morning, or for the taco and a cocktail when the DJ starts. Köybaşı is why it feels like Istanbul rather than a branded breakfast hall.
