The Göbektaşı

The Göbektaşı is a hammam meyhane in Kocamustafapaşa, at Org, Koca Mustafapaşa, Cambaziye Mektebi Sk. No: 69/A in Fatih, on a side street where the old residential grain of the peninsula still holds.

The place is modelled on a neighbourhood bathhouse: diners eat in a space designed to recall heat and marble, so the meyhane ritual lands inside a hammam memory instead of a wood-panelled tavern template.

Istanbul Muse filed the opening, and @thegobektasi is the live camera for hours. The room is why you go, and the street is why it feels like Istanbul.
