Banca Unione

Banca Unione is a seafood restaurant in a bright Karaköy dining room inside L’Union Han, the old bank building on Bankalar Caddesi in Karaköy, Beyoğlu, Istanbul.

The room occupies a structure roughly one hundred twenty years old; marble tables sit where clerks once counted lire, and the banking shell still shapes how light falls across the floor. Mediterranean plates move through a space built for ledgers and counters rather than for a kitchen, so the architecture remains part of the meal instead of a painted backdrop.

Müdavim filed the opening, and bancaunione is the live camera for hours and seatings. The room is why you go, and the street is why it feels like Istanbul.
