El Cuadrat

El Cuadrat opened in summer 2026 at Carrer de Vilamarí 3 in Sant Antoni, in the room that used to be Varmuteo. It is the El Rectangle team’s second door: natural wine, tapas, no reservations, a terrace on the street.

The little-known fact is the name. Cuadrat is the square; Rectangle was the first room. The Sant Antoni dining room is the larger of the two — fireplace, high ceiling, tables that fill without a book — and the brief is deliberately walk-in. You do not call. You turn up, drink what they are pouring, and eat the tapas card that sits next to the bottles. El Rectangle already had the wine-bar logic; this door puts it on Vilamarí with a terrace that actually gets used.

Barcelona Food Experience filed it on the summer 2026 openings file. elrectangle.com/cuadrat carries the house note. @elcuadrat is the live camera for hours. The terrace is why you go; Vilamarí is why it feels like Barcelona.
