Bornès opened on 22 January 2026 at Carrer de la Carassa 2–4 in El Born, a restaurant, bodega and cocktail bar in a stone-and-mosaic room that still reads as the neighbourhood rather than a concept flown in.

The little-known fact is the split they refuse: Catalan plates, wine and cocktails under one door, with weekday evenings from 18:00 and weekends from 13:00 through 01:00. The street is a quiet cut of Santa Caterina, close enough to the market that the menu can stay seasonal without making a speech about it.
