Barra /M opened on 26 January 2026 at Carrer de Viladomat 249 in the Esquerra de l’Eixample, a nine-seat omakase from chef Omar Malpartida.

The little-known fact is the scale. Nine seats, Japanese technique, Peruvian spirit, cocktails at the same counter — a room built so every diner watches the same pass. Eixample already has loud restaurants on the avenues; Viladomat is the quieter cut where a counter can stay conversational.

Barcelona Food Experience, Guidavera and The Mediterranean Insider filed the first service. @barraemebcn is the live camera for hours and the waitlist. The counter is why you go; the Eixample is why it feels like Barcelona.
