The Clucker

The Clucker soft-opened in July 2026 at 2003/2 Sukhumvit Road, Phra Khanong Nuea, Watthana, on the corner of Soi 77 beneath BTS On Nut. It is the On Nut chapter of what used to be The Clucking Donut in Huai Khwang: a cult fried-chicken-and-donut counter that quietly disappeared, then came back as a proper room. About twenty seats, bright red tiles, neon, tongue-in-cheek signs, 1960s records and 1990s hip-hop. BK Magazine sat the door on 23 July and found the signature Clucker Chicken Sando at B220 — house brioche, pickles, a slaw that is not drowned in mayonnaise, and a piece of fried chicken that sticks out of the bread. BK was careful to call them sandos, not burgers. The spice scale runs BareNaked, Extra Mild, Mild, Medium, Hot, Extra Hot, then Cluck Me! for people who mean chilli. Medium is the burn most people actually want. Nashville heat is a dip in seasoned chilli oil and a dusting of spice; the crinkle fries take the same number. House Clucking Sauce and ranch sit on the side. Donuts were still missing in the first week; the kitchen said they would return.

The little-known room is the bathroom. Press the button and it becomes a miniature disco: coloured lights, a mirror ball, disco records. That is the joke the rest of the room is built around, and why this is not another fried-chicken counter under a BTS. BK wished out loud for a cold IPA. Google currently sits it at 5.0 from the first handful of reviews — a rush, not a reputation. Cash has been the rule on Instagram.

@thecluckerbkk is the live camera for hours, the spice of the day and whether the donuts are back. Confirm them before you walk; the soft-open clock still moves. Soi 77 is the numbered corner under the tracks, not a hidden courtyard, which is why a twenty-seat sando room actually gets walked into twice: once for the chicken, once for the toilet.
