Namsu opened in February 2026 above Rangoon Tea House on Soi Sangchai, Phra Khanong — Honey Rae Zenang’s Shan kitchen, namsu meaning vinegar, highland ferments brought down to a Bangkok staircase. The sake list is serious on purpose: the highland board wants something that can stand next to pickle without disappearing.
The little-known fact is the address is a climb. You eat Shan above a Burmese tea house, which is why the room feels like a second country stacked on a first rather than a theme. @namsu.bkk is the live camera.
The ferment is why you go; Soi Sangchai is why it feels like Bangkok.
