Khao San Sek

Khao San Sek opened in January 2026 on Song Wat Road in Samphanthawong — Chef Pam’s sacred-rice kitchen, chili, a Chinatown street that already knew how to eat. BK Top Tables named it the best new restaurant of 2026, which is why the reservation fills before the rice hits the pan. The room is a kitchen that happens to have tables, not a dining room that happens to cook rice.

The little-known fact is the name: ข้าวสารเสก is rice that has been spoken over, which is why the bowl is the argument and Song Wat is the reason it doesn’t feel like a hotel Thai. @khaosansek is the live camera.
