Tarzan opened in late June 2026 at Kolokotroni 39 in the historic centre, an 1980s-style pita-and-skewer shop from Aris Roussos of Serial Eaters with Eddy Gerekos, Markos Goulas and Grigoris Marselis on the door.

The little-known fact is the grill: the skewers sit on a Japanese robata rather than a vertical gyro spit, and the house refuses fries — three sauces, draft beer in plastic, pork, chicken, kebab. Instagram on 29 June said not soon anymore, we opened. Gastronomos and Kathimerini wrote the old-school centre souvlaki in July. Phone +30 213 032 1695.
