Focu Sauvage opened in late June 2026 at Megalou Vasileiou 52, on the corner of Konstantinoupoleos, a restored 1930s stone building under the Rouf bridge where Iordanis Tseneklidis and Panagiotis Siafakas finally gave their eight-year outdoor fire dinners a door.
The little-known fact is the name of the object: focu is fire in the dialect they cook in, and everything — kid, lamb in mandemi, rooster with gigantes, imam with grilled octopus — goes over wood, smoke and cast iron. Giorgos Karampinis writes a Greek and French wine list; Michalis Stelio signs the cocktails. Athinorama sat it four days after the door; Gastronomos had walked the building on 28 May before service. @focu.sauvage is the live camera. The fire is why you go; Rouf is why it feels like Athens.
