Bar Diethnes opened in 2026 at Lefkosias 5, 112 52, on the pedestrian street that feeds Plateia Amerikis, a Kypseli bar Athinorama filed as having just opened. The house Instagram, @bar.diethnes, still posts the DJ sheets, but the stills that clear the door are the room: bottles on open shelves, a low ceiling, a terrace of chairs on the pedestrian street. The little-known fact is the cassette. The bio promises drinks, music, vinyl, cocktails, parties, Plateia Amerikis — and cassettes, a format the square already knows how to hold. The bar is why you go; Lefkosias is why it feels like Athens.
